This Firefox project aims to build the Firefox product for Akan.

This project is part of the larger ANLoc Localise Software project.

How to test?

  • Download and install language pack for Firefox 3.5 or
    3.6
  • Navigate to about:config from your address bar and promise to be good. Look for the variable called general.useragent.locale. Change it's value to ak-GH
  • Restart Firefox and test away!
  • Send us email to let us know what you think.

Akan languages are those languages belonging to the Kwa language family spoken in Ghana and the Côte d'Ivoire.
