ANLoc Calls For Application From Localization Teams

By eyedol - Posted on 15 July 2010

ANLoc, The African Network for Localization which kasahorow is a part, with their mission to empower Africans to participate in the digital world by removing the last inch limitations imposed on language usage by the limitation of technology are calling for applications from software localization teams.

There are selected Free and Open Source software(FOSS) that needs to be translated into any African language. The localization project period starts from August 2010 until the end of January 2011 which will include the localisation of the FOSS applications, review, testing, communication with the developers of the applications, and promotion of the localised applications to the community.

There is a whooping bounty at stake. If you are interested, you can read more about the details on ANLoc's blog
